★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After spending some time reading books in the public library, we went to this place to have some dinner. We had some phở (one with chicken and another with beef). They are yummy and just perfect for a rainy cold night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comfort food. Unexpectedly authentic beef and chicken pho made with ingredients imported from Vietnam. The chicken and beef were great in addition to the well seasoned and refreshing soup particularly at a very cheap price (70 NTD $2.50 USD). definitely a place I would visit again.
Note it is in a small alleyway but the bright red sign is hard to miss.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Vietnamese food bistro is hidden in a small passage (between two 7-11) of a residential building opposite to the main library in Kaohsiung. The owner is a Vietnamese lady who can make most of the food in the shop, such as sausage and French baguette. The price is surprisingly affordable while the food is quite nice. I tried their chicken pho and drip coffee twice. She even asked me if I liked my coffee sweet or not too sweet. They open from 10am to 8pm for 6 days a week, there is a day which they close early at 3pm.(could be Monday). I would love to go back and try other things on the menu for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their Banh Mie is warm and crispy. Their spring rolls are piping hot. Their pho is fragrant and tasty. A small hole in the wall restaurant that you could easily pass by without noticing. Located in a small alley below the noble building close to 85 building

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Humble Vietnamese fare like you'd find in the homeland that hit the spot on a windy, rainy night. The beef/shrimp pho was good. I wouldn't have minded some more herbs. I could not finish the fried spring rolls. While the outside was crunchy, the inside was fishy and mushy. I was hoping for a fresher veggie crunch but they just tasted...old? The owner was nice and we chatted briefly about Vietnam. Will be back.

The services are good, fast and very friendly.
Highly recomend for the ones who love Vietnames flavor.
