The written menu is quite simple, consisting mainly of different types of noodles and dumplings, but they also have an unwritten menu to order from (ask the waitress for more info). Food is pretty good, but not mind blowing, though still worth a visit if you are looking for local hole-in-the-wall eats. Place has limited seating and only takes reservations for large groups but the table turnaround is fast.

You could find some slogans across the walls and some soldier helmets hanging from the sides. If you are going for dinner, be sure to do some research beforehand as they have a big hidden menu (fish head hotpot/ fried stinky tofu/ deep fried shrimps, etc). As they don't really have a menu, you pretty much need to guess how much the bill is gonna cost. But it is totally budget friendly. We ordered more than enough and it only costs around 2000NTD for a party of 5.

D	D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good restaurant. Very authentic local food not in Taiwanese style though. It carries the memory from my childhood as our parents immigrated to Taiwan due to civil war. No fancy decoration. The snacks are good. Fish head soup is highly recommended.
