Yummy Baos nice and big. Veggie Bao has a good peanut sauce. Pumpkin soup is decent too!

I think it is easy for a local Taiwanese to think this place as expensive, just because normally “Taiwanese Burger” costs at around NT$40-50. HOWEVER, it is a Guabao with a twist. I personally love any Taiwanese Guabao. I used to hunt them down at hipster food markets back in Europe and US such as the Smorgasburg. Maybe I’m used to seeing this dish being priced at US$10-15(NT$300-500) per portion. I find this place to be reasonable. It got more than just the traditional Guabao. The owner got a selection of them. The ingredients were chosen with care. They are fresh and yummy in my honest opinion. The burgers at this W4 joint is much healthier than the ones served at regular traditional market. The location is slightly hidden by the apartment construction next to this shop. When I found this place, it barely just opened. I’ve returned quite several times now. I just love their Guabaos so much. Pros: - more selections than just the traditional Guabao - they have a vegetarian option - fish Guabao with roasted red pepper bun!!! - they have a selection of traditional healthy tea drinks - friendly service - the dishes are under NT$100 Cons: -there is only one seating outdoors, no indoor seatings. - the story front is hidden by an ongoing construction Verdict: Two ???? Up!!!

Great stuff. A bit hidden in a corner and easy to miss, but very worth checking out. Good for quick lunch or a snack in between. Small selection of this classic Taiwanese dish “Gua Bao” with a few variations - I went for the fish bun. Check out their iced tea as well, goes well with the food.

Often referred to as a Taiwanese hamburger, a gua bao is like a sandwich, created with steamed Chinese bread stuffed with braised pork belly. I shared two buns with a friend and it was just right for a light dinner. Tried the caramel pork bun and the plum chicken bun today and will definitely be heading back to try the other variations. Not an easy find but definitely worth it.

Got the caramel braised pork bun and it was super delicious! The flavors were pretty unique with the peanut, sugar, and cilantro mixed in too, and the meat was very tasty. If you eat in (at the tables outside) you get a free cup of tea too!
