★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a super easy hike to the waterfall, it's worth going if you're in the area, but if you're dedicating a trip for just this waterfall, you might be wasting some time.
Shifen waterfall and sandiaolin waterfall series is in the area, so you can go visit those too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took Bus 795 from Muzha Station and got off at Qinahan Stop. Walked towards Wanggu Station and then followed the trail to the waterfalls. Easy trail. It's been hot and hasn't been raining these days thus the picture. Still deep enough for a swim.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very easy to get to from the train station. You can see about 3 to 4 waterfalls of differnt sizes, enjoy some VERY mild river tracing and the bonus part is that you can also swim in the lakes in front of the waterfalls!
However since it's so easily accessible, there's tons of people around so it makes the water dipping a little awkward. The top waterfall is the least visited.
In April you can enjoy the fireflies season, so be sure to visit at night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth a visit to this unique water hole. Majestic scene and majestic sounds. Easy access though could use more signs and parking spots. Nice scenic approach towards the staircase. Steps and walk paths are sturdy and open. Steps down to falls can be steep but not too bad. The falls are really pretty and water seems clean. Beware the deep water but there are shallow pools on the other side of the falls which are safe if you have little kids. I didn’t notice mosquitoes at late morning but I’d assume nature would have them in early morning and dusk so bring big repellent (no need for sunblock as trees cover the area).
