★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In my opinion, one of the best snorkeling spots in Taiwan. On a good day, the bay is calm, water is clear, and there isn't a lot of people around (early morning on a week-day is your best chance at this). Going when the tide is high is also helpful. The area is well-preserved and hidden so you can always see a lot of fish. The coral is beautiful, too! Sadly, some visitors littered in the sea, resulting in some plastic waste. On my last visit, I came away with a plastic bag full of garbage. PLEASE TAKE YOUR TRASH WITH YOU!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice diving spot a few meters from the shore. You can see a lot of different types of fish and lobster. Be aware that the corals are shallow. If you can't hold yourself horizontally while in the water, please don't swim on top of the corals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are lucky and grateful to see three big and pretty sea turtles eating sea weeds in this ocean ．It has many pretty tropical fishes and parrotfish and also has corals ，but this water is a little not clear and has many trash under the sea ．It’s worth to go ！

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some small fish, but coral is essentially all dead from way too many people trying to do whatever is "cool" new thing with little to no natural aptitude, or training and qualification. Large paying tour groups of scuba and snorkel go out; they don't even notice a missing person who drowned somehow, later found lifeless under the water. There is absurd pollution, the entire bay floor is covered in plastics/garbage, and the fish are trying to eat it. No public toilets, people obviously just go in the water. Someone needs to post daily water quality data, e.coli, etc like at Hong Kong beaches. Not this game of ignoring obvious problems simply bc fixing them may harm global communist moneymens endless growth economics. It's a fraud low quality westernization beachgoer destination, with unjustifiably inflated regional real estate prices as the usual main beneficiary. At least the western beach destinations actually keep their environment and waters clean in exchange for their inflated prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to drop in for a swim. Ample parking area or you can park at the shop you buy your snorkel equipment from. I have been here 2-3 times and the marine life totally depends on your luck but if you snorkel around the reefs on the left side of the rocks you definitely get to see a lot. The water is beautiful and if weather permits it allows a gorgeous sunset. I wouldn’t recommend diving here unless you just need to practice or you are a beginner getting used to scuba. Small Taiwanese meal options are available but then again not recommended. Come enjoy the beauty and have food at downtown kenting.
