★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely mind boggling to see at first - goes against your knowledge of physics - even after you read the signage which tells you that it may look like water is running / flowing uphill due to the fact that it is indeed flowing in its intended direction, only because it is an optical illusion from the surroundings. Very cool to see in real life, only if you have 10minutes to kill. Would not go out of the way just to see this - very small area with a few small shops up at the top.

Basically a washroom stop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very touristy stop that is worth a quick stop if you want to experience this optical illusion of this tiny river/flow of water that seems to be flowing upwards while actually it is the terrain that is slightly going down while appearing flat.

This is a popular stopover place for the tourist buses as there is a toilet and really clean

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A short stop is all that’s needed. Even though I know water can not run up hill, it still leaves you confused. Very cleaver and impressive to see.
Small garden area above which is maintained to a very high standard.
All you need is 15 minutes to fully enjoy the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did not know that Taiwan has a tour spot like this. This reminds me that somewhat famous spit “Mystery spot” near Santa Cruz, California. Anyway, it’s nice to see the water water flowing upward (maybe an illusion because water should accumulate at lower altitude).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great break for bathroom and stretch your legs. My kids love this so called nature wonder where water travel upstream. It’s a illusion but pretty impressive one. I measure the bottom and top is about 20’ difference in height. Pretty large. As you climb up, The views and grass rest area is fantastic.
