台南孔廟東北角有一座三層樓的建築，稱為文昌閣。文昌閣並不是孔廟規制內的建築，供奉的文昌帝君也跟孔子無關，文昌帝君與魁星庇護士子名利雙收、福祿雙收的神，所以台灣民間讀書人喜於祭拜。文昌閣內供奉文昌帝君與魁星，因此此樓亦稱為魁星樓。
文昌閣，目前沒有開放參觀。只能在外面拍拍照片，幸運的話還能遇到松鼠在樹上跑跳。

There is a three-story building in the northeast corner of Tainan Confucian Temple, called Wenchang Pavilion. The Wenchang Pavilion is not a building within the Confucian temple regulations. The enshrined Wenchang emperor has nothing to do with Confucius. The emperor Wenchang and the nurse Kui Xingpi nursed both fame and fortune, and two gods for Fulu, so folk scholars in Taiwan are happy to worship. Wenchang Pavilion is dedicated to Emperor Wenchang and Kuixing, so this building is also called Kuixing Tower.
Wenchang Pavilion is currently not open for visits. You can only take photos outside, and if you are lucky, you can also encounter squirrels running and jumping on the tree.

一樓方形、二樓圓形、三樓八角形；二樓與三樓分別供奉文昌帝君與魁星。
木質樓梯狹窄且陡峭，一次僅容一人通行，行走時需特別留意腳下。

Ticket-free visit. It is a three-story building located on the northeast side of the Confucian Temple. Visitors can go up to the building to visit and worship, and the number of people at the entrance is controlled.
The first floor is square, the second floor is round, and the third floor is octagonal; the second and third floors are dedicated to Emperor Wenchang and Kuixing.
The wooden stairs are narrow and steep, allowing only one person to pass at a time. Pay special attention to your feet when walking.
