除了菊田外，山坡地種了茶園.稻田，周邊山峰疊翠，鄉間風景十分優美。

旅經這裡就看到向日葵和風鈴草（應該啦黃色小花）…真的很美??邊拍還能聽到孩子們的笑聲和學校鐘聲…越來越喜歡苗栗怎麼辦

學校唯一的教學大樓於2018年4月完成建築物結構補強，學校各個角落也整修的煥然一新，從師生臉上，可看到結束施工，如同辦喜事般的喜悅！
祝福師生們，在這好的學習環境，都有美好的未來！
