★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 文秀坑地名源自移墾期，文秀坑是道光時期簡文秀所闢，位於石碇溪上游，原屬丹裡，分為內文秀坑與外文秀坑，後世居民為紀念簡文秀開墾功勞而取此地名。文秀坑與外文秀坑現今隸屬新北市貢寮區美豐里，內文秀坑現今隸屬新北市雙溪區新基里。
 The place name of Wenxiukeng originated from the reclaiming period. Wenxiukeng was created by Jianwenxiu in the Daoguang period. It is located in the upper stream of Shidingxi River and originally belonged to Danli. It is divided into Neiwenxiukeng and Waiwenxiukeng. This place name. Wenxiukeng and Waiwenxiukeng now belong to Meifengli, Gongliao District, New Taipei City, and Neiwenxiukeng now belong to Xinjili, Shuangxi District, New Taipei City.
