This place is super beautiful, especially when I come in the evening, I used to despise it, but now it has become my favorite place, and no one comes at all on weekdays!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 一座浮於空中的陸橋-西堤屋橋，左方連著宜蘭社會福利館；右方連著津梅棧道，是個連接左岸與右岸的橫向空間。西堤屋橋則是沿著社會福利館的走廊延伸至依附於慶和橋上的津梅棧道，「屋橋」顧名思義，它不僅只是段空橋，更像一棟小房子。來到這裡你會發現，時不時有當地居民會在這裡坐著納涼、午睡，甚至會有學生來這裡約會。社會福利館與西堤屋橋曾榮獲「台灣建築獎」
A land bridge floating in the air-Xidiwu Bridge, connected to the Yilan Social Welfare Center on the left; connected to the Jinmei Plank Road on the right, a horizontal space connecting the left bank and the right bank. The Xidiwu Bridge extends along the corridor of the Social Welfare Center to the Jinmei Plank Road attached to the Qinghe Bridge. As the name suggests, the "House Bridge" is not only a Duan Kong Bridge, it is more like a small house. When you come here, you will find that from time to time, local residents will sit here to enjoy the coolness, take a nap, and even some students come here on a date. The Social Welfare Center and Xidi House Bridge won the "Taiwan Architecture Award"

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 黃聲遠的作品，確實實踐了符合宜蘭在地的夢想：重建每個生命都可以時時感覺得到「水」的新故鄉。
一個城市中，有河有水是件很幸福的事情，若能闢建一條由上往下眺望、與自然共存、以人為本的橋樑，那就更完美了。
美中不足的是，當天下雨發現，橋墩步道的防滑設計不佳，若一個不小心很容易在防止積水的水溝蓋滑倒。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 愜意的小橋，廊道的設計挺有意思；和社會福利館和棧道瞭望台相通，接續的堤防步道與河濱公園部份都頗具一致性，確實擁有令人感覺輕鬆、人和物事是相連而一體的。
Cozy bridge, the design of the corridor is very interesting; it is connected with the social welfare hall and the plank road observation deck, and the continuous embankment trail is quite consistent with the riverside park. It does have a feeling of relaxation, people and things are connected and integrated of.
