★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good service, and friendly staff, who speak English. Food is euporean (German) and very delicious, diverse with both seafood, pork and beef dishes. Also has nice selection of desserts and drinks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best Pork Leg I had in Taiwan. Been there 5 times and always worth the 30-40 mins drive from downtown Taichung. Make sure you order in advance so they can slow cook it for about 45 minutes before you arrive.
All other dishes I had were also above average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food quality is ok, price higher than others in town. But there are no others like this unique restaurant. I think the price level is considering reasonable. It's safe to eat here. 20-30USD/PP. Steak and beer are great, other dishes are just ok. Pork tasted like factory made. (die Schweinshaxe). However, its good quality of food and hospitality are good enough to OPEN business in Taichung downtown. Furthermore, they do not do delivery and take out. The price for single 200g steak in Germany is about 21USD, similar price here is not so expensive. Recommended. Come here for beer, it's also great. It's a small family business. Food Quality is good. Service is ok only but friendly atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife had a lamb chops meal set, and I had the coffee goulash mealset..the meal was fantastic.both meals came with a salad, and a pumpkin soup, and a drink. My drink was a special ginger coffee with cookies, and the wife got a fruit tea. In addition, her meal had a brulle, which was a special as it was using coffee as an ingredient. Overall, the whole meal was well worth the price, and the atmosphere/service was wonderful. Come here for a great german treat.
