★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mike Shi-fu is an excellent teacher. He is patient, encouraging, and thorough, and makes his classes both challenging and fun. Furthermore, not only does he teach the techniques and stances for self-defense, he also encourages you to develop your sense of focus, awareness, and groundedness. Shi-fu teaches Wing Chun informed by Tai Chi and Chinese philosophy, and I have learned about all in spades. I recommend his classes to anyone interested in both the art of Kung Fu and the art of life!
