Highly recommend accommodation!! Lovely people, absolutely gorgeous rooms (we where offered to try two of them). Amazing views and so much to do in the neighborhood. Great local breakfast in the morning. I would recommend everyone to visit!

After one week of travelling in Taiwan, our stay at Wisdom Garden will easily be one of the highlights in our four week trip. In spite of the abundance of positive online reviews, we were still overwhelmed by the kindness and helpfulness of the owners, who went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible while also helping us plan ahead and arrange our hiking permits. The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable and it was a veritable pleasure to have our daily-changing homemade breakfast with local dishes in the lush garden-with-mountain-view. The location is somewhat out of the city center, but the owners picked us up from the train station after a simple email and dropped us of in the center again to rent bicycles (city center is only a 20 minute bicycle-ride away). If you're planning to stay in the picturesque and soothing scenery of Yuli, don't deny yourself the treat of staying at this place!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house! The hosts welcomed us with a nice pot of tea and a pleasant chat. The location is a few minutes outside of Yuli, but reachable by bike. The rooms are cosy and the bed was comfortable (100 year old wedding bed). Breakfast was delicious with some typical Taiwanese dishes and nice conversations with the other guests. It felt like staying with friends rather than in a hotel!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful location. The staff consists of an elderly couple and their daughter and they do everything in their power to help you. They picked us up at the station, helped us rent a scooter and made a quick lunch for us consisting of traditional Taiwanese food once we mentioned that we had only little to eat during our travels. This is one of the best homestay experiences i have ever had.

Amazing experience at this home stay. Very friendly family who picked us up from the train station, brought us for lunch and to rent bicycles. Very hospitable. Homestay itself was beautiful- lovely garden and views of mountains. They have 2 really cute and friendly dogs who stole our hearts. Delicious breakfast spread.

Excellent place. We stayed for five nights. Breakfast was abundant and diverse. I looked forward to it each time! The owners are very kind, generous, and extremely helpful. They have a lovely home. We loved our stay. We were lucky that they just recently re-opened their doors amid the restrictions. We even visited their Buddhist school and were given a brief introduction about it. Really neat place, nested under large trees alongside mountains. We even were lucky enough to see a rainbow through our window after a shower. Would come again.
