★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You'd think you'd get authentic chicken inasal from back home, but no. The food was not freshly cooked (the staff just heated it up in a microwave). No cutlery either, but then again food is always best enjoyed when you eat with your hands. The food was just not okay with me. Can't believe they just heat up pre-cooked stuff.
Filipinos shouldn't hoodwink their own countrymen like this. Sigh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw this on google while in Taichung. Would have been a good place for homesick Filipinos looking for food from home, sadly My husband and I did not have a good experience for the following reasons hence only 1 star.
1. Atmosphere was not homey.
2. Food was MICROWAVED! (Inasal is best enjoyed when newly roasted/barbequed, not microwaved.)
Plus 1 more star simply because they had the toyo-mansi, which made the dish slightly acceptable to eat.
I wish service would be better so that not only Filipinos would enjoy the food, but would also attract foreigners to taste good Filipino food.

Experience life BEFORE the COVID-19 pandemic.
No SOCIAL DISTANCING, dividers, or separation between customers.
Good microwaved food and countless bodies, elbow to elbow, with no space or respect of each other.
Oh the fun of the Philippines here in Taichung.
Maybe you'll be lucky enough to get COVID-19 and enjoy the free (because of COVID) socialized medicine Taiwan provides.
