Best Dumpling restaurant in Taiwan

I started to going to Wu hua ma 8 years ago when they had a shop on xinyi road. I'm so happy they still have stores. Try the sweet potato leaf dumpling, also the shrimp one is amazing. Must have with lots of ginger and black vinegar.. YUM!!!
L	Low on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The shops sells mainly dumplings, noodles, and chinese pan-fried pastries. The prices are at the higher end, considering the food type and quality. However, they do provide all-you-can-have millet porridge and malt tea for dine-in customers. The sauces and ginger slices are also available on a self-service counter top. The place is decorated with poems from Li Bai, which is associated to the name of the restaurant. It is rather family-friendly. I would recommend the 5-color dumplings, which come with an interesting and healthy concept of taking natural colors of veggies into dough making and filling mincing. However, I was rather disappointed with my pork dumplings with cabbage. They were soaky, and the filling is not as good as before anymore. I had to fill my stomach with the millet porridge instead sadly.

But several of my dumplings were broken: cooked until the skins were mushy, and many had seams that simply gave out. For a dumplings place, they really should be able to do dumplings right.
T	Tammy Liu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This rating is based on CP value. This chain location is reasonably large, with ceiling to floor glasses all around, therefore, quite bright and pleasant. The unlimited free yellow rice porridge is quite nice. Steamed dumplings, scallion pancake with beef and daikon cakes were all okay. Unfortunately, the pancake stuffed with leek was really bad, re-cooked, greasy.

The dumplings and noodles here are very good and very good value. You get unlimited helpings of porridge which you serve your self.
O	Otto Lai on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not bad, the dumpling is good but filling is a little bit salty so I personally think there is no need for additional soy sauce, but adding garlic is a must. Self serve congee is available for dine in customer which is also a plus, price is fair and dining environment is bright and clean. Less than NT$70 for a serving of dumplings (10 per serve).
