★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful little train. Its back operation since the typhoon. Its nt$50 one way. If you dont want the round trip I suggest taking it up and walking back (downhill).
Nice little slice of history and great way to support the local economy. Glad its operational again!
At the top is the cable car, some shops and hiking trails and a waterfall.
Note the museum at the top is closed Tuesdays.

The destination is Wulai waterfall and you could also take a walk there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to here Oct 31. Unfortunately, the train was under construction from October 19- December 2, 2020. As the result, we just took a walk to waterfall. The weather was cool, please prepare jacket.
The transportation to go here is just take a bus number 849 for around 50min until the last destination (wulai). The price is only 15nt from Xindian MRT. However, it was very crowded on the weekend, please prepare to stand up inside the bus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth a try! ? First of all would advise on coming here as early as possible because on weekends, a huge queue starts forming by 10 am or so. One can purchase the tickets in advance from KKday I believe. The train ride offers great views of the valley and the surrounding forests. On the plus side, it beats walking to and from the Wulai Falls
