Just back from the Aowanda Forest Recreation Area, you can park and get off to take pictures. It's a very convenient spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 不同的季節有著不同的景色，去奧萬大森林必經之點，也是必停留之點，稍不留意就會錯過，記得要往上方的宿舍區走，找到制高點抓到好景色!
Different seasons have different scenery. It is a must-go point to go to Aowanda Forest. You will miss it if you don't pay attention. Remember to go to the dormitory area above to find the vantage point and catch the good scenery!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in RenAi Village of NanTou County, a.k.a Bi Hu Reservoir, elevation 1100m above sea level, builded on 1939, Dam height 114m. Bi Hu(literally jade lake) was named after the former president of Taiwan R.O.C. Mr.Chiang Kai-Sek, hence the name after he visited here and was astonishing by the beauty of this reservoir as the water shimmering reflects the surrounding mountains and glows in spectacular jade green color.
But nowadays it was not green anymore caused by the water level drop lower and lower, even dries out and exposing the sediments lied below and mud causing by earthquakes. The impact of the nature disaster are expected the lake will fill with sediments by year 2059.
