Wutiaogang Anxi Temple

Every year, I will come to Anxi House for a walk. Visit the Chitose House of Zhang Limo I feel like home every time I come here

Wujogang Anxi Mansion is a very peculiar temple covering a very wide area, which is the center of faith for the local people. The temple has the first flagpole, which was built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. When I saw it, it extended from the temple to point to the sky. A parallel flag pole was only erected in 1964, and there was a gap of 125 years between the two branches! There is also a phoenix living cave where you can touch the phoenix statue and feed the fish, every fish is fat ? Because it occupies a lot of land, I left halfway through the walk. I turned a corner and saw the city wall, so I didn’t take pictures anymore.

Wutiaogang Anxi Mansion, dedicated to the three deities of Zhang Mansion Chitose, Li Mansion Chitose, and Mo Mansion Chitose. It is said that there are more than 3,000 temples from Anxi Mansion to the temples at home and abroad. The history of the temple building can be traced back to the 60th year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (AD 1795). It is said that on the night of March 10th of the lunar calendar that year, fishermen were fishing in the nearby waters during the high tide of the sea. Going to the source of the light, I saw a bamboo raft with an incense burner and three sticks of fragrant incense, and another memorial tablet with the sacred name "Zhang Li Mo Qiansui". The fishermen thought it was a miracle, so they enshrined the tablets of the gods and incense burners on Haifeng Island. At this point, as long as the fishermen wish to pray before going out to fish, it will be effective, and the incense of the three thousand-year-olds is becoming more and more prosperous. In the eleventh year of Jiaqing (1806), because the three Chitose were enshrined on Haifeng Island, it was more inconvenient for the believers to visit the temple. The believers decided to relocate to the temple. After obtaining the consent of the gods, the Chitose of Zhang Mansion personally chose the site and chose Wujo Port. "Phoenix Living Cave" built the temple, which is now the current site of Wutiaogang Anxi Mansion. There have been many constructions since then, but there hasn't been much change on the temple grounds. According to the records of the temple, the "Thousands of the Mo Mansion of Zhang Li" who were enshrined in the Anxi Mansion of Wu Tiao Gang were named Zhang Xun, Li Mi, and Mo Ying, all of whom belonged to Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty. There are many miracles in the "Thousands of the House of Zhang Li Mo", and the well-known "Zhu Xiuhua's Resurrection of the Soul" incident in Taiwan is the work of the "Thousands of the House of Zhang Li Mo". Zhu Xiuhua, who was murdered in Kinmen, said that his soul had nowhere to go after he was killed. One day, he met "Chitose of Zhang Limo's Mansion." The three Chitose sympathized with his experience and let his soul temporarily reside in Anxi Mansion of Gojo Port. Only by the body of Wu Lin's waist, whose life was exhausted, was brought back to life. After the resurrection, Zhu Xiuhua also felt grateful for the grace of the gods, and did his best to serve the gods before he died.

The Anxi House of Wutiao Port in Taixi is full of incense. The building of the temple is very solemn and there is a small garden next to it. The temple covers a very large area. It has a history of more than 200 years. Fu Chitose and Mo Fu Chitose are the three gods. In front of the temple, there are two flagpoles made of cedar wood. They are unique among the temples in Taiwan. They play a pivotal role in Taiwanese folk beliefs and are also the main belief centers of the local people.
