The trail start at Zhulin temple, which is conveniently reached on foot (or car), from Wuzhishan main temples. The trail is steep but not very long (3 to 4 hours way and back), with good marking and maintenance. But be aware it can be quite muddy on rainy or humid day. It's possible to go further both after the thumb and the small finger. After thumb, it's a interesting trail that will bring you back to Zhulin temple through some detour and a 6th summit. After the small finger, it's a very steep trail down which can not close back to Zhulin, and therefore, it's much less interesting. Early January, during some cold waves, it was possible to meet with real winter scenery due to frosty white rimes on trees. Trees looked frozen, which is quite surprising and extraordinary for such low altitude mountain.
