Although we arrived on time for our reservation, it took a loooooong time to finish their paperwork. And another looooooong time waiting outside for the car while windy and raining. The email communications prior to rental was ok. But once we arrived, we were “un-greeted” by the only persons, a very young girl 楊小姐. Her face tells the message of unwelcoming. With a confirmed reservation, we expected a quick process and a car ready waiting for us. But instead, nothing was prepared. Unlike many other rental agencies we have dealt with in Taiwan in the past.

My Chinese-speaking friend had arranged everything on the phone previously and we just came to pick-up the car - with all the baggage, our baby, weekend plans... After looking at my driving license, she refused to rent us a car and demanded the Taiwanese driving license (even she knew we are foreigners). No matter to her that the international driving license is valid here and in other rentals we haven't had problems so far. Worst customer experience ever, I felt like a total fool and we found ourselves on the street and with a little baby and ruined weekend plans...
