★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to take kids and teach them about local wetland animals. It was a great idea to have a walk way that allows people to get close to the crabs and mudskippers, but also keep people from disturbing the animals. The visitor center also had plenty of good videos and charts that were informative.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to take the kids for crab sighting! The walkway out towards the ocean is only open at certain times. On a Sunday when we went, it opened at 3pm. Lots of tiny crabs of many varieties. There is also a bike path which we may consider taking next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful for romantic sunset. It used to more accessible, but it's closed off now for environmental protection. However, it's still a nice place to drop by and enjoy the sunset.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite a nice place for great pics, watch some birds and fiddler crabs. Prefer the wetlands at Taichung though, where you can walk on it.
Getting around on public bus is quite a hassle as some bus has a short operating time and a long waiting time. Do check the bus schedule...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very pretty places in Hsinchu. You can see seashore, crab and broad view. There is also a bike lane you can take an adventure of. Bike lane is rare in Hsinchu. Many people here though, parking won’t be easy. Good place to go

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an excellent wet land. You will see plenty of local life here, crabs, fishes and birds. The best view can be seen around 4:40pm during winter time. Parking can be a bit of an issue during busy hours as there aren’t really any dedicated parking space around.
