Xiaobai Country Club for Dogs

Thank you so much to Sue and Thilo at Xiao Bai. My puppy Muti has been going there since he was 2 months old. He's 9months now. it's his home away from home. His big sister Mango, who I recently adopted, spent a whole month there to get her prepped for life in the city with me. When Mango first arrived at Xiao Bai, she has zero confidence and was terrified by everything. Even a small puddle of water. In just one month she learned to play with other dogs, learned basic doggie commands, and even started swimming in yet ocean. The transition into my home with Muti was so smooth. I know that's thanks to both my pups being trained and treated well at Xiao Bai.

We boarded our Airedale terrier, Lexi, at Xiaobai during the Christmas holiday. This was Lexi’s first time away from home since she spent a week in Taiwanese quarantine when we moved her here from the US. When she arrived at Xiaobai, she freaked out, thinking she had to relive the horrors of quarantine. But the Xiaobai staff were able to calm her down and nurse her through her bout of PTSD. She ended up having the best time of her life. She even got to go on a beach walk with the other dogs. We highly recommend Xiaobai!

This is an awesome place to send your dog for a night or a week (or longer!). Their overnight playcations are great and their boarding is amazing too. They genuinely care for the dogs and their staff and facilities echo that. Check it out!

They sent messages and pictures on Line about every other day. This was great for the child who was used to sleeping with the dog. Also, they increased his food since he was living the active “vacation” life playing with the other dogs, so our dog returned with better muscle and not so scrawny as he was at drop-off. And clean! :-) I always appreciate a clean dog! Happy owner!

I only have one complaint, and that is my dogs didn't miss me one bit! What a wonderful place for a dog to be. My boys were so happy. They sent so many pictures and videos updating their what they were doing on their visit. They also fed them raw food with their kibble which is exactly what I do at home. I can now travel like I want to do and not worry about my babies and if they aren't being loved and cared for like I would.

We adopted 2-year-old dachshund Karl from Xiaobai one week ago today. Karl is the first dog I have personally owned, although I have grown up around dogs and my family has always had dogs, so based on past experiences I was a little nervous about how well I would handle his needs and how he would take to his new home. I was in for a treat -- Karl has been beautifully trained by Sue and Thilo; he is calm and affectionate in every way. I wish every dog could be raised at Xiaobai! I'll try and list some of the ways Karl is a perfect little dog: he is very calm and completely unperturbed by cats, other dogs, or any loud noises in general. He is sweet and good-natured, always willing to play but otherwise happy to curl up patiently at your feet (or in your arms!). He runs happily to his crate whenever he needs to be crated or at bed-time, as he clearly feels safe and secure in there. He travels calmly and quietly in a carrier bag, without making any noise (or mess) -- he came with us all the way by taxi, MRT, HSR and taxi again from Xiaobai to Kaohsiung, without making a peep (although we did sneak in some pats whenever we could as he was such a good boy). Despite his past ill-health (Karl was a rescue who needed surgery) he doesn't let his limp get in the way but bounces and runs around with great energy. He is so affectionate and loving, he just fills our hearts with joy. Thank you so much Thilo and Sue for letting us rehome this little angel with giant wings/ears. He is more than I could ever have dreamed of!!

We absolutely love Xiaobai Country Club for dogs. My dog is always happy to go there. He definitely enjoys himself as he never fusses when we drop him off. They take great care of dogs and have an outdoor garden where dogs can play. They will also take dogs on walks. I would recommend them to anyone who wants safety as well as happiness of their dog and peace of mind for themselves.

I have a lot of anxiety about leaving my dog with others (and so does my dog). But I have to say Xiaobai was excellent and extremely professional. They sent me photos every day and it was clear that my dog’s condition was happy and healthy. When she returned home, she seemed very stable and content. I even noticed she was better at socializing with other dogs and people after her return home. I am so grateful for a dog hotel like Xiaobai. I highly recommend and hope you can feel peace of mind when boarding your dog.
