小李子清粥小菜 Xiaolizi Rice Porridge

Great place for taiwanese dishes and rice porridge! I came here twice before writing this. Pretty chaotic but the food is well worth it. Won't comment much on the food because I am very happy with it, and there is never enough words to describe the taste of authentic food. It's a little bit pricy, but I don't mind that much. In terms of the chaotic part, it is very confusing, even for locals, what to do lol. So here it goes: go in>>> find seats/look for a waiter or waitress to ask seats>>>go to first floor where is food, and ask for dishes/just point or ask, don't worry>>>go back to your seat with the dishes>>>ask for/the waiter or waitress will come to ask whether you want rice or porridge(sometimes they just give you porridge directly lol)>>>eat>>>someone will miraculously show up and hand you the bill>>>finish eating>>>pay the bill at first floor>>>done! Enjoy!

Enjoy very much our meal here If you looking for typical Taiwanese style food, this is one of the best choice - please don’t take it wrong it is not a high class. We visit this restaurant after few years, as not sure if they still existing haha ...... years ago there are 5 to 6 restaurants offering similar food and format. The food choices are great and tasty, very reasonable prices They provide Free parking which is very important in the city area The only suggestion is they needed to put the prices at food display area Highly recommend and surely will revisit

06.12.2019: somehow miss the localized side dishes and congee so come back again, sweet potato congee taste good as usual and price remain unchanged, recommend to come here if you are nearby.. 21.03.2018: a very localized and nicely decorated place to have late night meal, great varieties, around 50 kinds, of Taiwanese style appetizers which supposedly eat with sweet potato congee, sounds interesting, right?

Hits and misses. Fish and egg were good. Highlight is the porridge. Fish a a little steep at 320NT. Whole meal is about 880NT

Its taiwanese buffet style. Order ur favourite items from the food counter then bring it to ur table. The staff will then come and mark the items that u ordered and get u the order summary ! the price range from $10 to $140, unlimited supply. Shop open from 5pm to 6am in the morning.

Selection of Chinese dishes to the preference and tastes. Most of the dishes are kept under room temperature which hinders the flavor. The bowl on top of the mini pot looks hearty, but the pot doesn't fo the work of heating up.

Wonderful restaurant! Clean. Bright. Super yummy dishes. They have lots to choose from and everything was so fresh! Lots of seating with two floors. A must visit for porridge!!

Really enjoy dining here. The food is delicious, well priced, the atmosphere is very family style. We had a group of three and tried a few dishes. Stinky tofu was awesome, rice and fried egg were perfectly cooked and the fish(cod) was delicate and fresh. Overall would recommend this place for a casual dinner with friends or family any night of the week!
