Fantastic amazing hiking trail but it’s a little bit dangerous!!!Especially during raining season, and it was nice the rain stopped.Otherwise,I didn’t know how to go downstairs ?? Be careful when you climbing and take pictures ?And wear a suitable shoes.

This trail was a lot of fun!! It’s comparable to Wuliaojian but less ropes. The first stop - Xiaozishan peak is popular because it takes less than 30 min to climb up to and you may need to wait in line to get to the top for a photo. If you continue on past xiaozishan there are even higher peaks which in my opinion more fun. Definitely recommend and would come back again!

Really fun hiking area! It's a short walk up some stairs from downtown Pingxi, and then you have the option of climbing a series of pretty steep peaks. Lots of ropes and some scrambling with gorgeous views of the surrounding area. Note that some peaks are a little intimidating for those with a fear of heights.

Great hike, not so challenging but at the same time but scary and adventurous, which is exactly something I appreciate. All the trails here do not take much timw to get up and down, but it is worth it. I had but here. You can go srojns the whole pkace only in half of the day.

Xiaozi Shan is not high, but is one of the challenging hiking trails in Taipei. With rich environment and plants, really could get-in the nature. By train (Pingxi Line) or by Bus 795 from Mucha. Not recommend to go hiking in raining day.

xiaozishan is really short but steep enough to make you feel really exciting(at least for me though^^),the other two is a bit longer and higher but still not too hard, you will get really amazing views up there! enjoy your hike!!!

I like this mountain for hiking actually, very fun and thrilling sometimes! I had hiked for around 5 hours, very nice views of nature! All green colors with fresh air smells!! Probably again next time! I recommend for people who like or enjoy hiking usually! ?

Wow! This was one of the best hikes I’ve ever done… in the world. First, you get to go through a cool little town called Pingxi. Then you get to climb a well maintained path up to the good stuff. Once you get to the first climb (I went counterclockwise), you find the first set of steps carved into the rock with ropes. That is the top of Mt Xiao. This one probably has the greatest vertical exposure with the ladders and pitch but it’s safe if you take your time and don’t freak out about the exposure. AmAzing views! Then we went back down and took stairs to the south. That one is almost straight up with great views. You can continue over it to the west but once down, the path isn’t clear. You have to bushwhack your get back to the paved path and I was concerned about snakes so we circled around and back up. Then went over the north side and down to the paved path. Then back to Pingxi for lunch!!
