During the Japanese occupation, the Japanese used the Sanjie Temple as a military barracks and wanted to destroy the temple. With faith, the people were not allowed to worship idols, the temple was forcibly abandoned, and Xifu Palace was burned to death in an unknown fire. In view of this, the local people decided to relocate and rebuild the temple, using the Fudezheng Shrine at the foot of Bogong Mountain as the temple site to worship the Fuzheng God. At this time, it was officially renamed "Xifu Palace". After Taiwan's recovery, in 1949, local loyalists raised funds for reconstruction, and the temple was built for three days, in order to ensure the prosperity of the country and the people. Xifu Palace is now enshrined in the main god, the three official emperor, the god of five grains, the emperor of Shennong, the emperor of Wenchang, the Virgin of Heaven, the god of merit, Guanyin, and the Buddha.
