★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 本站車站編號為BR16，位於內湖路一段之上，西湖市場東南側，接近與環山路、基湖路的交叉口，為舊有西湖市場區域聯合開發而成，創下捷運站與傳統市場共構之先例，聯合開發共構大樓牆面設有公共藝術：跨越．蛻變。
內湖路北側一帶發展較早，以住宅區為主；內湖路沿線多為商業使用；以南地區則為內湖科技園區，區內多為新建的科技辦公大樓及企業總部，因此使本站成為內科通勤族的通勤車站。另外，本站與南港展覽館站之月台為文湖線唯二的高架島式月台，文湖線其餘高架車站皆為側式月台。
 The station number of this station is BR16, located on the section of Neihu Road, on the southeast side of West Lake Market, close to the intersection with Huanshan Road and Jihu Road. It was jointly developed by the old West Lake Market area, creating a MRT station and a traditional market. The precedent of co-construction, the joint development of co-construction building wall with public art: Leap. Metamorphosis.
The area on the north side of Neihu Road developed earlier and is dominated by residential areas; the area along Neihu Road is mostly for commercial use; the area to the south is the Neihu Science and Technology Park. The station became a commuter station for internal medicine commuters. In addition, the platforms of this station and Nangang Exhibition Hall Station are the only elevated island platforms on the Wenhu Line, and the other elevated stations on the Wenhu Line are all side platforms.
