We came with 3 toddlers but they are still welcome us (even when babies were screaming and crying).
170 dollars for beef noodle soup. Delicious. Good quality, most expensive part of beef shank.
60 dollars for the rice and pork mince, egg...very delicious.
Also love wonton soup.
I didn’t like the dry noodle but the beef ball was to die for!!!! Cant never get enough of the beef ball.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came across this place more or less randomly when looking for a place to eat at around 10pm and didn't know what to expect. Of course no tourist-friendly English menu, but the chef explained the available options and helped us to order. Everything was great, in particular the beef soup was unbelievable - maybe the best beef soup broth I had in Taiwan. Cannot recommend enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my third visit and I simply enjoy their minced pork noodles. Take note that from evening onwards they serve mainly cold noodles and soup. The noodles are springy and comes with a sesame dressing and finely minced garlic. Simple yet tasty. Comfort food at economical prices. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty awesome noodle house near Ximen, they serve authentic Taiwanese style cold noodle, aromatic sesame dressing with soy sauce and with a little hint of citrus fruit to give the soury vinegar taste, delicious and economical. Come and enjoy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I serendipitously discovered this generically named noodle and rice shop via late night eateries near me. This was finding a diamond amongst the tourist traps of street vendors of fried chicken breasts and beef noodle shops in Ximending. This unassuming 24 hour shop delivers the best pork knuckle rice bowl with an over easy egg atop the pickled radish and sweet cucumbers. The tofu slices and tofu skins are aromatic and deliver a complex array of deliciousness that can only be described as amazing. Finally, for the Piece de Resistance, the number one must order dish is the beef tendon soup. The taste will take you on a flashback trip to your grandma's traditional homemade village palate. Think the Taiwanese version of Ratatouille, but with the pork knuckle rice bowl. A hearty and satisfying must eat dish for both newcomers and regular customers alike!

Staff was attentive. Varied choices of food at an absolutely reasonable price.
The Pork Knuckle Noodles with Poached Egg (served without soup) was quite nice. The braised pork was tender and luscious. Noodles were rather limp and soggy tho. Tastes a lot better if you served with their homemade chili sauce. Highly recommended the lip-smacking Salted Egg Yolk Pastry! It’s homemade by encasing the entire salted egg yolk in red bean paste and wrapped in a crispy pastry… so delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice food in Xinmen area. 265 NTD for everything. Small place. The pork knuckle is amazing. Fish cake has a lovely fragrance of sesame oil. The soup with dumplings is perfect.
The cake with salted egg yolk was actually very good. I heard that they only make 40 a day.
The braised pork over rice had a nice tough with a poched egg. Overall very good. Definitely worth a visit.
