★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice station. Only one exit so it is easy to meet up with people. The Bitan river front is right next to it. It is up the stairs across from the buses and I would highly recommend spending a few minutes and checking it out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Station is clean, efficient, and in a great location for accessing Bitan riverside restaurants and activities. Had a wonderful experience with retrieving an item I lost on the green line; very polite and helpful station attendant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the terminal station for Xindian Metro Line. It's clean, and never too crowded or busy. There are only 1 or 2 machines that allow you to recharge your metro card using coins and sometimes it's occupied so will need to wait a bit. There is also a 7-Eleven convenience store outside the station and plenty of food options nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really glad to passby this place. We drop off after visiting from Wulai to take the train back to main station. Just next to the Xindian station is Bitan. You can ride the swan or whale (riding/motor) across this huge lake. But beware of people fishing lines along the coast. There are quite of interesting restaurants along Bitan worthy to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An extremely rude station officer. my credit card did not go thru when we tried to pay for onboarding our bikes onto the mrt. When i ask if he use the visa or the 悠遊card inside and if he can check again, he keeps insisting both my visa CC and 悠遊卡 has no money inside.
Then when we tell him where we want to alight, he is rude and give confusing responses. (We will conversing in Chinese.)
Immediately after I alight, I have my dinner and paid with that same Credit card with no issue at all.
Quite disappointing as taipei metro are known to be polite and helpful. First time seen such rude one.
Incident happen around 6pm today. Taipei metro pls Buck up!
