It is an imitation tunnel recreated according to traditional culture, not an old tunnel in actual operation, but it is not bad in terms of experience nature. It is very hard to provide sleepers for coal carts to walk:)

In Xinfuben Pit near Dagouxi, there are walks imitating the pit road, and there are many seats to take a rest in the shade, and there are no crowds.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The trail has nice scenic views along the way. Before you get to the top, there are many sections equipped with cables that require you to use both hands to pull yourself up the steep path. That may be challenging to some people, but it worths the efforts to go over. You can also see organic strawberry farm, passion fruit trees and many small vegetable fields in the mountain area. Across the hang bridge 白石湖吊橋, there is a nice restaurant 碧山野味 that serves cage-free chicken and delicious vegetables. Having lunch there is a great treat after the hike.
