★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 奉天宮附近的一處休閒綠地，為以前的台糖五分車鐵道，一帶狀長條的公園，沒有甚麼兒童遊樂設施，不過草地的腹地仍可以讓孩子進行不少的體能活動，樹蔭也充足，有暫時小火車，可以吸引目光，唯環境維護沒有很好，隨處可見垃圾。

但隨著環境變遷、糖業沒落，這條線路終遭廢止，直到21世紀，新港這邊的一小段鐵路及月台，才以全台首個「鐵路公園」的名號重新建立。
或許這只是個小鎮的小公園，卻有著很大很遠的故事，以及在地人愛鄉愛土的真心。當時這個公園在9月9日9點9分落成，或許就是希望：雖然老舊的事物終究會有淘汰的一天，但那些美好的回憶，能夠持續到永久，不會離開人們的心中。
