校景特色：
1.校園内找不到任何與百年校史有關的文物或記錄標示。
2.校舍建築佈置平淡無奇亦無足以照相入鏡的景物，僅有一座基隆各校皆有的日晷裝置及未有説明牌的基隆市公共藝術藝趣解碼樂。
School History: The Keelung Mandarin Workshop was set up at the current site of Xinyi Elementary School (next to Tianliao Port) in 1896, Keelung Public School in 1898, Keelung First Public School in 1926, Keelung Shou Public School in 1933, Keelung Shou National School in 1941 , 1945 Renai First National School (Futaba and Shou two schools merged), 1947 Xinyi National School (separate from Renai), 1969 Xinyi National Primary School.
School view features:
1. No cultural relics or records related to the century-old school history can be found on campus.
2. The architectural layout of the school building is bland and there are no scenes that can be photographed. There is only one sundial device that is common to all schools in Keelung and Keelung City Public Art Decoding Music without explanation.
