Xitun Zhang Liao Temple - Xitun District

Zhang Liaojia Temple is a fixed monument in Taichung City. It was built in 1909 and was completed in 1911. It has a history of more than 100 years. The architectural style is Yuedong style. The Lingnan style of Yuedong can be felt by the wide ridge and gorgeous carvings. However, the building is quite a southern style, with the facade of the Sanchuan Hall and the two mountain gates. Forming a rigorous pattern, the roof of the Sanchuan Hall is a double ridge.

It is a private ancestral hall built by Zhang Liao clan who originally belonged to Lantian Building, Erdu Guanpo Society, Zhao'an County, Zhangzhou Prefecture, Fujian Province. It has been renovated one after another and is well maintained. You can visit it when you pass the Fengjia business district.
