During the Japanese era, the Zhaoshe Period had a total of 364 courtyards, which is the largest number of settlements in Wuhu. The development of Xiaochijiao has been around for 380 years and consists of Chen, Yan, Zhong, Lu, Hong, Huang, Xie, Lu, Liu, Xue, Li, Xu and Lin. Except for the surname of Zhong, which was migrated from Cangzhou and Haicheng, the surname Lin was migrated from the eastern foothills of Zhangzhou; the remaining 11 surnames were all migrated from the Lijiang River (Golden Gate).
