The Xizhou Mountain adjacent to the Shimen Reservoir is listed in Taiwan's Xiaobaiyue No.023, with an elevation of 578 meters, and there is a # 6296 third-class triangular point cornerstone at the peak. He is over sixty years old, and ascended the peak of Xizhou Mountain for the first time at 08:30 on June 22, 2019. Before climbing, I thought I could go up and down the mountain easily, but I thought it was too beautiful! 05:45 Pinglin Mountain Entrance (H149m) goes up the mountain, all the way up 06:40 Arrive at Yugong Pavilion (H444m), rest a bit and recharge 06:57 First transfer to Xinxizhou Mountain (H475m) 07:01 Turn back to Yugong Pavilion and follow the ups and downs of the mudstone walkway to the Zhulin Crossroad (H426m) 07:53 Go straight up after passing the bamboo forest cross 08:30 Mount Xizhou Mountain (H578m / # 6296 Third Class Triangle Point / Taiwan Xiaobaiyue No.023) 08:56. Returning down the mountain 08:58. Passing through the Xizhou Mountain Triangle Filling Point / Cultivation Bureau / H577m 09:30. Back at the Zhulin Crossroad, I didn't want to go straight down the mountain (walk up the mountain) and made a wrong decision. I chose the right-cut trail to go down the mountain. All the way is almost downhill dirt road, more tiring than going up the mountain. 10:21 Arrive at the climbing entrance of Lane 529, Section 5, Kangzhuang Road 10:40 Back to Pinglin Toll Station parking lot along Kangzhuang Road According to the worn Xiaomi sports record, the notes are as follows: Uphill: 141 minutes of exercise, 5.58 kilometers Downhill: 94 minutes of exercise, 4.21 km step The whole journey: the ascending slope totals 631 meters and the descending slope totals 621 meters, taking 295 minutes Along the way, I met a lot of mountain friends who visited Xizhou Mountain, both men and women, and young and old. Interestingly, many female mountain friends moved forward with laughter and joy, and most of the male mountain friends were silent and panting. Climbing Xizhou Mountain, there are few prospects along the way, the Dawanping Ancient Trail mountain trail almost maintains the original mudstone ancient trail appearance, artificially added steel bars, stone baffles, ropes, wooden stakes ... should be based on safety Consider and reinforce. There are several trails to choose from to climb Xizhou Mountain in Daxi. This time, the public route (Dawanping Ancient Road) was chosen. The mountain trails are all under the shade of the trees. Because it is cloudy and there is a breeze, it is comfortable and pleasant. There are auxiliary ropes on the steep slopes to climb. On the way back, I turned down the unpopular trail and went down the mountain. There were no ropes on both sides along the way, and I also stepped on it carefully, not easily, and sweating under the rain. Mountain climbing is like masochism, and the sense of achievement after completion is so happy! If there is an opportunity, I will visit again and plan to start from Xizhou Park, looking forward to it.

There are Buddhist words and stones along the way, so that the climbers can feel at ease, the trees are shaded and cool, it is worth noting that Yucha Road should take the road as much as possible, or have Lu map positioning, otherwise there may be a ghost hitting the wall!

Xizhou Mountain, one of the Xiaobaiyue Mountains, is 577 meters above sea level. There are many people along the way. Don’t be afraid of being alone. The path has been organized and it’s easy to climb. This time, I climbed from the Huangdamu Dougan on the fifth section of Kangzhuang Road. Walk to Yugong Pavilion and then go to the top of Xizhou Mountain. You can climb to the top within 2 hours after climbing and taking pictures. Welcome everyone to walk and practice your feet! And see the blood vine~~ worth it

After the rain, the trail may be slightly muddy, but it is still easy to walk. There are many cats near the triangle point. After returning to Yugong Pavilion, you can take a small O-shape under the Xinxizhou Mountain by the way.

The Taoyuan Xizhou Mountain Range is located on the north side of Shimen Reservoir, facing Shimen Mountain across the Shimen Dam. Xizhou Mountain and Shimen Mountain are both listed among the Little Baiyue Mountains in Taiwan and are famous mountains in Taoyuan. There are several trekking entrances in Xizhou Mountain. I chose to start from the trekking entrance of Pinglin Station, and then descend from the trekking entrance near Fushanyan (Xizhou Temple). The distance between the two trekking entrances is only 500 meters, which can be roughly rounded around a tadpole-shaped O-shaped route. The mountain climbing entrance of Pinglin Station is located next to the Xizhou Bridge downstream of the Houyan Pond of Shimen Reservoir, not far from the Pingxi Toll Station of Shimen Reservoir. Take the Tai Sanyi Highway from Longtan to Shimen Reservoir, cross the Xizhou Bridge, and next to the "Huang Da Mu Dried Tofu" store on the right side of a row of shops, there is a cement driveway. After the banana plantation, he immediately walked into the forest. The mountain trails are pristine and the trees are quiet and elegant. A few minutes later, at the right fork road, it will lead to Xizhou Park in Shimen Reservoir. Still go straight. There are many quaint old steps along the wide dirt path. This mountain road can cross Xizhou Mountain and lead to Dawanping, which is the back mountain. It is an ancient road used by residents of Dawanping to go to and from the front mountain. It is also called the "Dawanping Ancient Road." The ancient roads are in good condition, but you have to cross Xizhou Mountain, and there are many steep roads along the way. The higher the place, the steeper the steeper, and the stepping on the zigzag stone steps, the first step climbs to the ridgeline of Xizhou Mountain. About 40 minutes, finally reached the saddle of the ridgeline. In a short period of time, he climbed nearly 300 meters, no wonder he felt tired. There is a simple "Yugong Pavilion" in Anbu to commemorate a mountain friend who arranged the Anxizhou mountain trail and set up recreational facilities. The hinterland here is flat and wide, with stone tables, chairs, wooden pavilions, swings, horizontal bars, rings, climbing poles and other fitness equipment for the people to use. Anbu is the intersection of Wutiaoshan Road, go straight, the ancient road crosses the ridge to Guandi Temple in Dawanping; there are two mountain trails on the right, leading to Xinxizhou Mountain and Huanhu Road, and the trail on the left climbs to Xizhou Mountain. I first take the right and go to Xinxizhou Mountain, then turn back, and then take the left and go to Xizhou Mountain. Xinxizhou Mountain is not far from Yugong Pavilion, it takes about 5 minutes to arrive. The top of the mountain is in the woods, and there is no prospect. There is a cornerstone of the triangle that was buried by the Bureau of Production and Production during the Japanese occupation. I was a little surprised to see the cornerstone. I originally thought that Xinxizhou Mountain was probably a newly-named mountain. Unlike the original Xizhou Mountain, it was unexpectedly named after the Japanese occupation. After checking the information, I learned that "Xizhou" and "Xinxizhou" are all place names. "Xizhou" refers to the sandy land beside the Datongkan River (Dahan River) at the foot of the mountain, which was cultivated during the Daoguang Reign. In the 11th year of Xianfeng (1861), the ancestors built Fushan Rock in Xizhou to worship Qingshui Patriarch. The sandbank near the spillway of Shimen Reservoir was reclaimed late, so it was called "Xinxizhou". Xizhou Mountain and Xinxizhou Mountain are mountains named after local place names.

Xizhou Mountain, one of the small hundred mountains One of the popular suburban hills around Shimen Reservoir There are multiple trailheads 1. Next to the parking lot of Shimen Reservoir Wharf Entrance of the old Yunxiao Hotel There is a sign posted at the entrance It is said that private land is not given 2. There is an entrance opposite Fukuyama Rock Opposite to Fushanyan Archway Next to Sinchon bus stop This entrance next to Xiaodi Gong Temple This entrance is fully paved Well organized along the way 3. The entrance next to Xizhou Park There is a sign at the entrance No access to trail collapse But no blockade So there are still people going I actually walked through it and found that there is indeed a collapse, but only a small section, which does not affect walking, and I personally don’t have any safety concerns. If you keep following the paved trail I will go to the old Yunxiao Hotel mentioned in 1... But the signs along the way are quite clear. should not go wrong I haven't been to the following, just for reference Climbing entrance next to Pinglin Toll Station Daxi welcomes the rich and sends the poor to the roadside of the temple The Xiying Trail opposite the All Saints Church, etc. This time I stopped the car at Xizhou Park Then 3 up and 2 down Passing through Xinxizhou Mountain Yugong Pavilion Xizhou Mountain then turn back In the end, there will be a parking place on the asphalt road A little over three hours This route is not difficult Not enough experience For your reference only
