★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 從南迴公路進來...一路經過彎彎曲曲的山路...岔路中再轉入更小的岔路...崎嶇蜿蜒以至於後座乘客已經暈車到凍未條...進入停車場每車需付停車費50元...個人覺得還蠻合理的...爬上階梯...首先看到的是公廁及景觀台...不過這邊的景色還不是最美的...再往前經過一段階梯步道...便是所謂的大草原...大草原實則是一片草原丘陵...稱為大草原是有一點誇飾了...不過此處是近海岸線的丘陵高地...視野遼闊...非常適合拍照...續往前行來到涼亭...此處步道一分為二...草原步道及牡丹鼻山步道...草原步道稍微好走...且沿途海景一覽無遺...絕美秀麗...牡丹鼻山步道則較為崎嶇...沿路均為樹木灌叢...不過兩條步道最終會在觀海亭交會...故可兩步道一去一回...繞一個圈...觀海亭還可通往另一條生態步道...生態步道可一路向下通往旭海漁港...沿途均為樹林...雖不曬太陽...不過似乎比較沒人行走...而且車子還在停車場...懶得再走回頭路...所以我們也只走了一小段便即回頭...

The view is vast... very suitable for taking pictures... continue on to the pavilion... here the trail is divided into two... the grassland trail and the Mudanbi mountain trail... the grassland trail is a bit easier to walk.. .And the sea view along the way is unobstructed...beautiful and beautiful...the Mudanbi Mountain trail is more rugged...the road is full of trees and shrubs...but the two trails will eventually meet at the Guanhai Pavilion...so yes. The two trails go one round...there is a circle...the Guanhai Pavilion can also lead to another ecological trail...the ecological trail can lead all the way down to the Xuhai fishing port...there are forests along the way... Although not in the sun...but it seems that no one is walking...and the car is still in the parking lot...too lazy to go back...so we only walked for a short distance and then turned back...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to the carpark at night, turned off my engine and listened. The wind tore through the shrubbery and it sounded like wailing ghosts. The moon was a thin sliver behind thick cloud and the only light was my mobile phone as I tried to record the sounds. I failed to capture them adequately. I enjoyed the 3km windy road in, but it would be hell on a bicycle or with oncoming vehicles. It was very scary up there alone at night. Especially not being able to see anything; I chickened out and left after only about 5 minutes. The imagination does strange things when the eyes receive no data and the sounds, the sounds... Reading other peoples reviews I am glad I did not attempt the path from the carpark in these conditions. I probably would have fallen to my DOOM! :o
