★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s Mandarin Oriental so the restaurant is, as usual, well decorated. The service is up to standard too. The restaurant is pricey but the food is really yummy. Barbecue pork and roasted chicken are the best. Highly recommended if you have extra cash to spend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While the craftsmanship is second rate for a top class Cantonese restaurant (Eg dumplings that came apart when picked up), the boldly flavored (If fairly typical) dim sum was excellent - as was the service, surroundings and surprisingly, the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Cantonese cuisine in Taipei. By all means deserves that one Michelin star they are awarded with.
Every dim sum was on the spot and other dishes were superb as well. Heard that the chef came from the original Fook Lam Moon from Hong Kong, that explains enough. Service was top notch, very attentive throughout the meal. The place has a great decoration and ambiance as well.

Food was good. Crabmeat with tofu was delicious other than a little salty. Would be more delicate if slightly less salty. The crispy chicken was excellent. The skin was thin and crispy while the meat still juicy. Fish was excellent good too. Felt that spare ribs has too much tenderizer or something that gave it an awkward taste, to me. Roast duck needs improvement and the deep fried squid was excellent.
Enjoyed the dinner...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The dishes are average and nothing is amazing. The service is not up to Michelin standard. For example, when you finish one dish and there are some shared foods on the table. The servers don’t replace the old plate with the fresh plate. That’s really awkward in a Michelin star restaurant. As to the wine glass, they change for every different wines. That meets Michelin standard.
