1. Food: There are many options for side dish or main dish. On the day I went, they ran out of salmon.. which was very disappointing because I couldn’t order the salmon rice bowl, any of the salads, and just anything salmon..
I’m pretty sure they have salmon usually though. The food is definitely not super pricey for the portions they serve and it’s also delicious!!
2. Environment/ Service:
Roomy and clean tables.
There are iPads at every table, which makes the ordering system a lot more efficient and fast. The service is average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a set meal combo of 3-taste eel rice and dessert of mochi-s. Definitely worth the try, the environment is good for chilling and gathering.
The eele taste is unique as you get to 1) try the original; 2) eat it with wasabi and spring onion; 3) with the "broth tea" or so called "茶泡饭".
The mochi has red bean, plum and origin flavours! And on the side note, you may refill rice, miso and pickled from the e-pad!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pictures are quite misleading. The rice pot in the picture turned out to be congee, with much less salmon. The salmon sashimi on rice turned out to be much, much thinner than those in the picture.
We like Yayoi and frequent the chain a lot, but overall not at all impressed with this particular Yayoi.
