★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yiihotang has several locations, but this one is the only vegan one. The signature sea salt butter crescents (NT$40) use a fermented soy butter instead of traditional dairy. Wait around for the next fresh batch that comes out of the ovens! I also enjoy their other offerings, including the taro bun, bolo bun, and bread loaves. If you can't decide, try their generous samples. They also offer vegan sushi rolls, light lunch options, kombucha, and rice/soy milk. I wish the ovens were placed in a more visible spot so that I can watch them work their magic!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here twice during my stay in Taipeh because the food there is just too good! Everything I tried was delicious and the service was very good too! I have been vegan for a long time now and this is one of the best vegan bakerys Ive been to so far!

Food: Tried their apple pie (with raisins inside), cupcakes and was ready to buy the entire store. Everything is slightly on the sweet side which is to be expected.
Service: free tries of their soy milk and few bites of their bread.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this bakery very much! All are vegan breads and cakes, I can choose any one without query on the ingredients. Some of them have onion and garlic, the ingredients are clearly written on the name tags. The breads made without dairy are tasty and soft. There are different kinds of bread provided, not limited choices. Baguette Vienna 維也納 and Sea Salt Soy Cream Roll 海鹽豆乳奶油捲 are my favourite breads.
