★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth a visit if you are in Yilan. About 10 to 15 minutes by walking from the train station. Interesting Distillery, and also a wine bank! Many local products available for purchase. Prices are OK, but don't expect bargain prices. Variety of wine is quite special. There is also a small wine museum. Store selling snacks are available near the entrance. You can get some simple local food at reasonable prices in the canteen within the Distillery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think it's not a must go place in Yilan. Could pay a visit if you have plenty of time or you are a fan of traditional Chinese wine. In particular, many visitors bought fermented red rice products.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not that much to do here... Just a run down property, in which the museum part of it takes up a small part. The rest which has turned into a tourist stop to sell goods, and a particular wine/distilled product with 'gold nanoparticles' which apparently has health benefits including anti cancer, anti aging properties. Or is it the wine? Lol. I enjoyed the museum part of it, which talks more about the history etc...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is so worn-out and old, and all the stall didn't really care much, poorly manage (there is even dead fishy)... The main museum has been emptied out much, which means very little things to see actually... They are mostly trying to sell products instead and introducing... So if you wanna see and learn, don come...
