In the hot summer afternoon, I came to Yongan Old Street on weekdays. Most of the shops have already closed. Since it is a rural place, it is not very lively. Yong'an Old Street is the first street in Meinong. Hakka ancestors built 24 houses when they opened their village in Meinong. At that time, in order to pray for permanent residence, the first street was named ~ Yong'an Street. From the Minongzhuang Jingzi Pavilion on the west side to the East Gate Tower, the distance of about 2 kilometers is full of simple and nostalgic Hakka style. How many old houses or courtyard houses in Meinong have been demolished because of widening roads! But now they want to attract tourists by linking the name of "Old Street" with the few old buildings that remain! All I can say is... it's late... it's late! Now………………just hope the rest can be well preserved and maintained! Stop disappearing! There is a festival of lights this year! My first impression!
