★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a old fashion down to earth place to eat your typical Asian breakfast of youtiao and get your soya bean drink. They also have Xiao Long Bao and the Taiwanese pancake and bun, quite a extensive list. For most mornings, I have been having breakfast here. The taste is ok. I find the youtiao a bit bland to my liking and the skin for the Xiao Long Bao is too thick. For the experience I will rate it five stars but for the taste I will rate it three.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quintessential meal in Taipei. If you are in Taipei at some point you need to have soy milk and egg 燒餅 for breakfast. There are multiple locations across the city. This one is close to where I usually stay so I frequent this location often Doesn't feel like I went to Taipei if I haven't had breakfast here. The 飯糰 here is also very good. During breakfast hours there is always a line but will move quickly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is great! Order then pay then sit. They will bring the food to you! They also have an English menu if you don’t speak Mandarin. Cash only. Prices are good. I liked the turnip cakes and soy milk and this other item that I forgot name of. See pic!
