A clean place to relax

The building of Yongquan Temple has three floors, which can be divided into three parts: the basement, the Daxiong Hall, and the Zen room. The appearance of the basement is a long red wall with a white cloud-shaped carved staircase. You can climb up the stairs to the former site of Yongquan Temple. The surviving incense burner stands in the center. On the round arched door, there is a black wooden plaque on which is written "Yongquan Temple" in three lacquered gold scripts. Step into the Buddhist temple, in the middle are enshrined Shakyamuni Buddha, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, flowers and four fruits, sandalwood overflowing, refreshing and fragrant. Looking around, on the right wall, you can find a divine position with the words "I invite you, Tai Sui, Shen Xing Xing Jun, the divine position", and there are couplets on both sides, "Fate to the stars to rely on the Buddha's light to relieve evil", "Fate to rob the evil, Feng An Tai Sui" And to eliminate calamity, I saw a supreme offering of "Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva", a bouquet of flowers, and a Buddha lamp. Obviously, this is a phenomenon of "the integration of Buddhism and Taoism." Leaving the 20-year-old site, and then climbing up the stairs, two palace lanterns are lined up on the left and right. In front of the square is the Daxiong Hall. The vermillion gate is guarded by an elephant and a thousand-year-old tortoise. At the end of the corridor, there is a white-carved colored linden tree with leaves and leaves connected, symbolizing the spirit of unity and cooperation among the various branches of Buddhism. The linden tree is adjacent to the Zen room. The activities of Yongquan Temple are dominated by pujas. In addition to morning and evening classes, monks also have many self-study courses, such as meditation, mantra practice, offering to Buddha, planting flowers, cleaning... and many more. From 3:30 in the morning to nine o'clock in the evening, the days are full and busy. As written in the couplet, "The moon shadow of Guanchengtan shows the body outside the shadow" and "The scriptures of the Buddha call back the dreamer of the boundless sea of ​​suffering."

Quiet and peaceful, in line with the imagination of a monastery built outside the world.

The palace is solemn, enters the inner peace, and understands the spirit! The shape of the beast outside the temple is rare in Taiwan! Each week finds explanation... In the rest area of ​​the side compartment, the seats are fully equipped with water and washing, convenient and comfortable, the breeze hits the fragrance of white orchids, and the Taiwanese blue magpies fly back and forth like guests. It is a rest stop for body, mind, and soul!

A pure and solemn Buddhist temple! It is rare to find such a Buddhist temple in a city, which is free from the hustle and bustle but not too gorgeous, primitive and simple, and a place that can make people feel calm!
