★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Inconsistent quality. Sukiya isn't far from here and it's much better. I've run into employees who don't really know how to run the cash register and they try to charge me way more than what my meal costs. The dining area is not very clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ meat was tough and chewy (and mostly fat, but i think it's supposed to be that way), but more over, the 1 person working the register and preparing the food was sick.
wearing a mask, but still the constant coughing and such while preparing and serving your food is very unsettling.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not very good food. Kind of overpriced. Especially when you can just go to Formosa Chang just up the street for a better Taiwanese (instead of Japanese) chain restaurant with similar seating, slightly better prices and tastier quick dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Solid spot for when you’re hungry and want something reliable. The price was really fair too. Udon set came with drink and a small gyudon. I added on a serving of teriyaki chicken to make it a meal for two. Near Shipai station. Location seems older but if you don’t mind the ambiance, the upstairs seating is kinda fun to look out over the bustling neighborhood.
