The special education teachers here are very serious in teaching. The children are happy here. The adults are picking up there every day and lose their temper. Even if there is a traffic jam in a large area around (front, back, left, and right), they are still filmed by the administrator. The road wants us to be faster than the police. The school has no solution. In order to prevent the school entrance from being blocked, the police are on guard, but the two nearby intersections are completely blocked. My son is a special education student, and our parents must personally It’s okay to be sent to the classroom. I’ve been parking illegally every day. I’ve seen other schools and there’s no such outrageous problem. Sometimes it’s stipulated to arrive early. The vice principal also said that if I really want to park, I can stop after 8 o’clock. Come, who do I want to listen to? The teacher or the deputy principal? In short, every time I respond, they have reasons! The future is long, so I have to leave and transfer! Thank you. Several campus guards are commanding chaotically. It is dangerous. I don't know if there is on-the-job training.

12/3廣播太過大聲!又講超級久!實在擾民! 12/18只要你們每次辦活動 廣播就會開的比平常還大聲 完全不考慮鄰居感受 已經被你們嚇醒2次了
The 12/3 broadcast is too loud! Talking super long again! Really disturbing! 12/18 As long as you hold an event, the radio will be louder than usual, regardless of the feelings of the neighbors, I have been woken up twice by you

I am an experienced, certified teacher who finds Yu Jen to be a great place to work. It is the best arrangement I have seen at either public or private schools that serve Taiwanese students. Please note: I am not speaking to the international schools here in Taiwan, but I have worked in schools in Taiwan for over 11 years. I have never met Shin Shin Ho who made a recent negative review, but I found her comments to be both unfair and untrue. Firstly, the grading system at Yu-Jen is carefully thought out and thoroughly explained to all teachers. Teachers are only questioned about their grades if an assessment tool does not focus on what it is purported to do or if a teacher doesn’t collect a broad enough spectrum of evidence. This is far from arbitrary. In addition, the administration of the school goes out of their way to treat people fairly. Although there are occasional foolish remarks made during people’s chatting time, I think this reflects poorly on the person who was hired, but not on the administration of the school. I know for a fact that one of the administrators has instructed staff to not discuss certain divisive topics in order to keep the work environment more professional. Finally, I have consistently been impressed at the ability of the administration to bring together the disparate nationalities and experiences of teachers to create a constructive learning environment for students at this school. Many foreign teachers are “lone wolf” personalities, which is why they moved overseas in the first place. Working together for win-win solutions is actively encouraged. I highly recommend Yu-Jen school. It is a warm, positive place to work. The school’s fundamental goal is to educate the whole child. Children are warmly cared for at this school. Teachers are respected and encouraged professionally. Curriculum and programs are regularly re-evaluated so that excellent teaching and learning can take place. If you’re looking for a good place to work, consider Yu-Jen.

I’m an experienced teacher who was employed in the English section of this school, and there are some serious issues at this school. 1.Grades are given arbitrarily. This school doesn’t seem to have the basic understanding that reading, writing, listening, and speaking are separate skills. The school assumes if a student is strong with writing, then that student would be strong with listening as well. Any properly trained and experienced teacher knows this is typically not the case. As a result, I was required to downgrade students who performed well and had to give A grades to students whose performance were the poorest. Since grades do not reflect actual performance and ability, this school is nothing more than a glorified buxiban. 2.The work environment is openly sexist, and administration would casually make negative stereotypical remarks regarding women. The sexism embodied by administration also extended into behaviors that created a repressive atmosphere. 3.Conservative alt-right (racist/sexist) dialogue is permitted, if not encouraged, to dominate the teaching environment. Administration often uses language of exclusion rather than fostering an environment that is beneficial for all. 4.Administration is under qualified, highly disorganized, unprofessional, and at times completely irrational, which impacts the teachers, which in turn impacts the students. If you don’t mind incompetent management and you’re partial to the confederate flag or your outlook has been strongly defined by apartheid and continues to inform your behavior, then this learning/work environment is for you.

I have attended this school. Although it seems that the school spirit is good on the surface, I think it is not as good as what we have seen on the surface. The teachers inside will automatically classify students into two levels, those with good grades and those with poor grades. Students with poor grades there will be treated with contemptuous eyes and harsh treatment from the teacher, which is very undesirable. There is also the problem of transportation when going to and from school, and the school has not actively dealt with it……
