★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very decent vegetarian in a quiet and comfortable ambience. Good service. Bit expensive though, their 2nd cheapest set meal costs over AUD$150, considering it's all vegetarian, not sure if it's worthwhile.

Ambience: as a fine vegetarian dining place most of the execution of the decor of this place is well done. (With the exception of the cheap lights). Big tables and privacy screened four people table take most of the space with the exception of the middle area that seats people for two. The even provide water for you to rinse your hands.
Food: traditional Chinese vegetarian with fake meats with a good twist in the execution. The soups are divine,the vegetables very fresh and the taste are spot on. Appreciate the attention do dairy and egg allergies (I'm allergic to both)
Price: on the high end with menu sets starting from 1098 and above. Ordering a la carte will get you a bill of the same range.
Come to treat your stomach.

(1) It’s fusion - part Western, part Chinese, part Japanese. May be its because of a special Mother’s Day set menu, but I am confused at what food I am eating.
(2) For this type of restaurant, a critical part are the creativity and taste (surprise factor is crucial for vegetarian), both of which fail terribly short of past superb reputation.
(3) Ambience is all wrong - nice deco, but it is supposedly 懷石料理 Kaiseki cuisine, hence tranquility is essential for the right state of mind to enjoy and appreciate each dish. However, it is very noisy, both from other customers as well as the staff (managing the dishes and tableware, throwing into a bucket).
(4) I feel like it is a race against time. The staff are nice, but everyone seems to focus on rushing the dishes one after the other, with no gap in between.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service and artful presentation. We ordered the seasonal menu which includes pumpkin, topioca, and beetroot, and their famous grilled hericium mushroom which tasted like steak. Otherwise food are served in the Japanese Kaiseki style, which means many courses but in small portions. the best dishes had to be their mushroom soup, which is intensely flavorful. That contrasted strongly with most of the other food which are pretty plain in taste. The tastes of the different seasonal produces are not distinctive enough to surprise me. The hericium is nice by itself, but was ruined by the home made black pepper sauce which is starchy and mushy. overall very good quality (especially with $500 discount when you order two sets of seasonal menue).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the first fine dining vegan restaurant I've been to so I can't compare this to anything else, but the 8 course tasting menu I ordered was so good! Bit expensive but definitely worth it. They have a server that speaks perfect english to explains each dish to foreigners. Variety, taste, presentation, and ambience are all top notch!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classy place for veggie lovers. The tea served here is specially made from shredded yam and tea leaves. The waitress will make a brief introduction of each serving that comes to the table. Each serving is made delicately from assorted vegetables and fruits that are in season. The main course, mushroom, has the touch and chewiness of a steak.
For people that need more food to feel fed, an extra course or two needs to be added. Of course, the restaurant could increase a bowl of rice or noodle for hungry diners.
Street parking is available with a parking lot across the street.
