★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A female e.n.t. doctor removed my interior turbinate via turbinectomy 6 years ago. Now I can't sleep more than 2 hours. I have empty nose syndrome. Life ruining mutilation for no good reason other than money. Considering suicide.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible. I was screamed at by a doctor "Don't live in Taiwan if you can't speak Chinese". I asked a nearby nurse if the doctor said any bad words to me. She lied and said he hadn't. I told her I knew what he said, she only replied with "then why didn't you speak Chinese" like his yelling was acceptable. I was also given care I didn't ask for and told them multiple times I do not want the medicine. At least 3 different people scream at me for not wanting to pay a ridiculous price for them changing a bandage without my consent and giving me a prescription I told the doctor not to write. The price was even greater than when I went previously for an accident where I had multiple xrays and cat scans. Avoid this hospital the best you can. Never go here. It is old, the staff is rude, and they are overpriced.

I call various 5-star hotels in Kaohsiung about the best hospital and two of them recommended Yuan's. It's an excellent hospital, even if you don't have medical insurance.
For English speakers, there's a volunteer desk at the front staffed with fluent English speakers that will help you through the whole process. I was surprised, but my doctor could speak moderate English.
Moderate wait. It took only 45 minutes between entering the hospital to seeing the doctor. I visited on a Tuesday at 11am.
Payment was cash-only. My consultation was very cheap (compared to the US) at only 250 NTD.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hospital has great service! All the nurses were very kind to me and the doctors were very helpful. Some of these reviews say that there was bad service but that was absolutely not true. They provide one of the best healthcare in Kaohsiung that's seen so far.
