★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cable car ride up the mountain is nice and there are some things to see at the top (archery and short walks) but the resort feels very run down and in need of major investment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This area was severely impacted by the typhoon / mud slides hitting Wulai in 2015. Despite renovation works in progress, the resort and it's water park still looks deserted and by allowing tourists to visit it is being renovated (for e.g. the money from the cable car tickets is used). This 'ghost town view' does however provide an impressive view on what typhoons are capable of...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really gorgeous grounds and very few people there when we visited on the weekend. Was a total surprise to find such a huge area to explore at the top of the tram. We spent most of the day here. Totally worth the visit and would love to stay at the hotel next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A terrific destination for a family excursion from Taipei. Kids loved the narrow gauge railway and short gondola ride to get here. The stairway up was no problem for my four year old, and the rowboats and kids' play area were hits too. Will spend more time exploring the trails next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very relaxing place for family with young kids. Though no rides and roller coasters, there are boat ride, archery, paint ball gun shooting, occasionally magic shows, and of course the stunning cable cars next to waterfalls. Perfect for an easy afternoon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice scenery! Well worth to take over an hour bus ride from Taipei! A short cable car ride brings me to another world. Lots of walking but the stairs making it easy going up and down inside the resort. Buildings and other facilities are old but again the natural scenery and not many tourists win my five stars rating!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A tucked away gem at the deep mountains of ulai. This place is only accessible through a cable cart that is operated only for limited times. Beautiful place but half deserted. Not many people visit during the day so you can see a lot of half deserted playgrounds and historical natural sites on top of the mountain. A place worth visits for people who love nature.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location. The cable car ride is very special. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. There are nice activities like archery and boating. Some areas of the resort are a bit rundown and in need of repair or redesign, but due to the location on top of a remote mountain, it's understandable that the process is expensive and time consuming. Very much recommended overall. Great for a weekend away from busy Taipei.
