Just next to it is the swimming pool.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So good to hear the chirping of birds in the middle of a City. Curious that close by is a Mass Evacuation Centre... I wonder what threat they are anticipating? Whatever it is I'm impressed they are preparing for it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One reason that I love Taipei is the sheer amount of parks. This one isn't large, but there's a lot of grass with tree shade for picnicking or a rest and a clean playground area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice riverfront green space. You can ride a bike it walk along the river. Quiet change from the hectic pace of the city. More open space than a park in the traditional sense.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ideal for picnic, a walk or for kids to run around. Not many visitors. Big Taiwan Banyan trees provided much needed shady areas in summer. Lots of benches or sitting places for a rest. A nice playground with rubber-type flooring.
A heated public pool at its location.
The grass areas are cleared of fallen leaves & seemed to be trimmed regularly. Very well-maintained park. Workers come regularly to wash the playground. Equipment are replaced or cordoned when broken.
Only downside is that it is situated at the side of a expressway & relatively small. So it is not as quint as I would prefer parks to be.
