★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A station famous for being in proximity to Zhiben Hot Springs (bus or taxi required for transfer). A small night market is held on the field in front every Friday.
There is a store inside the waiting hall selling taitung specialty snacks, drinks and tea-leaf eggs. Slightly higher than average pricing though. Operates during daytime only.
Other than that, it’s basically a 500 m walk to the nearest 7-11 and an additional 100 m to the nearest diner! Truly a weird feature for all stations on the South Link Line.
