For those who look forward to buy smaller quantities of spices, this is great place..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place not only for eating but also for asian groceries like lime leaves, galangal, Indian spices, curry pastes and so on. Lots more restaurants to try, and have heard from friends that the Cantonese dim sum restaurant is particularly worthwhile. Also has halal restaurants where I hope to get a reasonably priced curry cooked by an Indian or Indian Malaysian or similar. Worth the ride or met journey, but go early as shops close early and restaurants earlier,

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Little Burma on Huaxin Street offers you a taste of local cuisine from Burma. There were many different restaurants, grocery and markets on this street. We noticed some of the locals speaking in both Mandarin and Burmese. We tried this restaurant following the scent of their curry. They had air conditioning and fans helped cool us down. The desserts were refreshingly cool and great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good place for different type of cuisine abd I do come here every Sunday to pick up Thai / Vietnam spices / sauces.
You can get everything here related to Indonesian / Thai / Myanmar and Vietnam cuisine. Even the local Thai beers :)
Also very reasonable plus authentic stuff.
There are small food places selling some good Myanmar / viet cuisines here. A must visit place to all those who want to experience different type of asian cuisine
